Bypass hardware for two doors:
Wall Mounted: For some applications, bypass doors need to slide in front or behind each other and then stack on the wall next to the opening. In this case, measure the width of the doors, plus the additional width of one of the doors, since they will be stacking on top of each on the side of the opening. For example, if you have two 3'W doors, you would need a minimum of 9' of track. Of course some applications may require more track if you are trying to get the doors to cover another opening, etc. For help determining the amount of track you will need for your application, please call us.
Soffit Mounted: For bypass doors that are soffit mounted within the opening, measure the opening width. Choose the rail size that is larger than the opening (see the "Actual Rail Lengths" chart below)--the rail can be cut onsite to exactly fit the opening size.
Bypass hardware for more than two doors:
Wall Mounted: Multiple doors can be put on the two parallel tracks of the bypass set-up. Often, people will use three or four doors, putting two doors on the front track, and one to two doors on the back track (or vice-versa). Please call for help determing the kit you will need.
Soffit Mounted: Multiple doors can be put on the two parallel tracks of the bypass set-up. Often, people will use three or four doors, putting two doors on the front track, and one to two doors on the back track (or vice-versa). Please call for help determing the kit you will need.
Note: For more than two doors, depending on your application, bottom guides provided may not guide the bottom of the doors at all points. Please call for other guide options for 2+ door applications.
