Scholarship

The Real Carriage Door & Sliding Hardware Company provides an annual scholarship of up to $1,000 in funding to students who demonstrate skills and abilities related to the achievement of independent employment. This scholarship is available to high school seniors and undergrad students. Recipients are selected based on a multitude of factors, including financial need, grades, leadership skills, recommendations from instructors, and participation in extracurricular activities and community involvement.

To apply, please send an email to marketing@realcarriage.com with the following information, as well as an essay as to why you deserve the scholarship and how you plan to do after graduation, more details on the essay below.

Deadline: This application form and all other required documentation must be received by May 31 (5:00 p.m. eastern time).

What does the scholarship committee need to know about you in 1,000 words or less? The committee members will be especially interested in these points: your most notable qualities, your attitude about business, and examples of your demonstrated leadership ability. Attach your essay to your email. The essay is limited to no more than 1,000 words, two print pages (approximately 6,000 characters). Recommendation: Carefully proof your essay and know that well-done short essays are admired.
