Posted by author Real Sliding Hardware publish date

We at Real love to research great interior designers. Browsing designers on the internet helps us stay on trend, and helps us give all you lovely customers the latest and greatest. Here are some of our favorite designers, who have created great spaces that a Real door and hardware would fit right into.

GRACE HOME DESIGN

Grace Home Design is made up of a team of three fiercely talented ladies; Jennifer Prugh Visosky, Jenny May Shervin, and Kate Dreher Swanson. Grace Home Design offers a distinctive approach to residential and commercial interiors that is vibrant and colorful, yet sophisticated and relaxed. From architectural planning to full-scale interior design, Grace Home Design is ready to provide the dedicated, personalized service you deserve.

One of our favorite projects from them is their interior design of The Shooting Star cabins in Jackson Hole, WY. They dressed these cabins up by layering the space with pieces that spoke to their client’s love of modern design. They introduced gorgeous lighting from Flair Home Collection and Jonathan Browning, as well as highly detailed pieces from BDDW, Troscan Design & Berman Rosetti. Whimsical touches such as playful art from Kollabs, furry fabrics from Munna, and feathers from Porta Romana keep the mood light and fun.

What Real has to match:

Since this space is a mix of rustic and contemporary, we believe our chevron swinging door in Sapele Mahogany would fit the best in this space. With its beautiful and modern take on a classic design, it would be right at home.

ALLISON JAFFE INTERIOR DESIGN

Allison Jaffe is one of Austin’s most lauded young designers. For the past three years, she has been recognized as an “Austin Under 40” finalist. In May 2016, Austin Culturemap dubbed her “a star to watch right now.” Most recently, ASID honored Allison’s work with two Legacy of Design awards and called her out as a Design Excellence Rising Star. Altogether, Allison Jaffe Interior Design LLC has been honored with 15 different awards since its founding in 2010.

One of our favorite projects from Allison is her design for Brian’s Meadow of Austin, TX. We Love the Modern Design of the kitchen cabinetry mixed with the stainless-steel appliances and light fixtures. The splashes of stone on the island and the backsplash warm the space up. The rustic elements of the plush chairs and the bohemian pillows also give the space character. (Plus who doesn’t love pie and cupcakes?!)

What Real has to match:

In order to match the stainless-steel fixtures and circular pulls on the fridge, we would use our Architectural Series Swiss Rod Sliding Hardware with a Swiss Flush Pull Set to match. We would then hang a craftsman 3 panel sliding door with a white paint finish, and Voila! A beautiful addition to a lovely modern space.

RIVERS SPENCER

Stepping into a home designed by Rivers is like stepping into both the past and present. You will see hints of 18th century walnut combined with white lacquer, gold leaf, and the patina of antiquity which create an interior that is both fresh and timeless. The finished product showcases Rivers’ style which will always be…Timeless, Elegant, Tailored, and Fresh.

One of our favorite projects of River’s is her design of a Carta Valley formal living room in Dallas, Texas. The space is light and fresh, with splashes of pastels and neutral tones throughout the room. It also gains an opulence with its pops of gold and grand curtains.

What Real has to match:

To match the neutral tone of this room, we would choose a rustic alder horizontal door with a light cream finish. We would then add our Classic Barn Door Hardware in a custom antique gold finish.

SCINTA DESIGNS

Peggy Scinta, of Scinta Designs, likes to refer to her signature style as “The New Traditional” – which highlights bold color, geometric patterns – paired with “new” traditional pieces. A marriage of today with hints of yesterday that create a fresh, yet timeless look for every design aesthetic – Modern, Contemporary, Transitional or Traditional.

In 2008, Peggy’sinterior design firm createdthe green room “Retreat” for the Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand. Most recently, Peggy was the recipient of Las Vegas Design Center’s 2013InteriorDesign of the Year award. Scinta won for the renovation of a 3,200 square-foot Henderson home she transformed from drab to fab.Today, Scinta Designs is considered one of the most successful, top design firms in Las Vegas.

One of our favorite projects from Peggy is her 2013 Design of the Year Award Winner. This home interior design features eye catching pops of chocolate brown and gold. We particularly love the bold lighting fixtures and the agate counter tops.

What Real has to match:

Since this space is full of eye catching features, we would choose a classic plank door in walnut wood on Aero hardware for a more modern touch.

TREHUS

It is TreHus design’s intent to make the highly complex process of remodeling a pleasant and rewarding experience. They have extensive experience in older homes where details such as “ball tipped’ versus “steeple tipped” hinges contribute as much as the roof line. They also enjoy contemporary style or even expanding a ranch style home.

One of our favorite projects from TreHus is their design of a Sunfish Lake wine room. This wine room consists of a slate floor, custom tile work, and a reclaimed timber ceiling. The built-in appliances help to create an inviting environment which includes a custom sink made from a wine barrel, and a serving table.

What Real has to match:

We adore the rustic look of this space. To compliment the reclaimed timber ceiling and wine barrel, we would choose a BIG Z-brace reclaimed barn wood door for the entrance of the cellar, and our industrial hammered hardware to hang the door.
